Mechanically, the Red Edition and the Black Edition of the Surron Light Bee X are identical. Genuine Renthal Fatbar 28.6mm handlebar – 802mm width, 120mm height, 84mm rise, 56mm sweep, 150mm clamping area, 190mm control length. Made from 7010-T6 aluminium, formulated by Renthal to cut vibration while keeping strength. No crossbar, so nothing for your chest to hit in a crash. The profiled wall gives the stiffness that a crossbar provides on other bars. Color red to match the frame. Why does this matter? The stock Surron bar is 31.8mm or narrower and flexes. The Fatbar is stiffer, wider, more comfortable standing, and most importantly, it is genuine. Fake Renthal bars from Amazon bend on the first jump and have injured riders. Why You Need The Direct Mount Stem

Here is what private sellers never tell you. A Fatbar is a 28.6mm tube and it will not sit in the narrow stock clamp of a Light Bee X. That is not a fault of the bar, it is the MX standard. On the Ultra Bee, Sur-Ron fitted a fatbar clamp from the factory. On Light Bee, Segway X260, Talaria Sting, and E-Ride Pro, the stock clamp is narrower. You need the Direct Mount Stem that takes 28.6mm. Without it you cannot fit this bar. Our bikes include the stem. Private seller bikes with Fatbar but no stem? That is a 22.2mm bar with Renthal stickers. We have seen it dozens of times.

Second upgrade: MX Connect reversible number plate. Clip-on front plate, holds with rubber straps, protects your expensive LCD display in a crash, gives you that factory MX look. Maintenance: Check chain tension weekly, lube every 2 rides, check brake pads monthly, keep battery at 80% to 90% for daily use, 50% to 60% for storage, never drain to 0%, use only included 67.2V charger. If you do this, battery will last 800 cycles. If you abuse it, 200 cycles.
